Rowan x Kettle's Yard Clay Pebble
These ceramic pebbles have been made for Kettle's Yard by Cambridge-based charity Rowan. Their weight and texture give them a soothing tactility, and displayed either singly or in a group give a sense of calm to the space they inhabit.
The hollow pebbles are moulded by hand before being coated with terra sigillata - a refined clay slip - and kiln-fired. They are then wrapped in natural materials such as leaves, feathers and pine branches for a final smoke-firing, a process which gives the unique smoky impressions to each pebble.
Available in four sizes - Small (approx. 7cm length); Medium (approx 8cm length); Large (approx 9cm length); X-Large (approx 10cm length)
Presented boxed
Each pebble is marked with the Rowan stamp on the base.
Please note these handmade items are highly individual and will differ in shape and surface pattern from those pictured.
