Naked Clay Ceramics Spirit Tall Vase

Spirit is the latest range of stoneware tableware from Naked Clay Ceramics. Inspired by everyday joy from the natural world, the Spirit range is about movement, moments and stillness.

Slip cast and hand built in black stoneware, the pieces are brushed with an abstract white porcelain slip design. The outer is left as the raw unglazed clay, while the interior is finished with a clear glaze to make the vase watertight.

Inspired by the natural colours and textures of the earth, Naked Clay Ceramics is a collection of quiet, tactile, minimal style tableware and homeware. Using a combination of handbuilding and slip casting, everything is made by hand by ceramacist Carla Sealey in her studio in Bedfordshire.
